Brain cancer is the
development of malignant tumors that usually begin in the brain and speedily
spread to the spinal cord.

4 different grades:

I: In this, the malignant

microscope.
Grade
II: The growth of the tumor is
still pretty slow, however, appear to be abnormal under the microscope.

III:In this grade, the malignant
tumors are actively multiplying near the brain tissue.

IV: In this stage, the
malignant tumors multiply at a faster pace and also form new blood vessels in
order to sustain their growth rate.
What is the treatment of brain cancer?
Various methods are employed
for treating brain cancer. A combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation
therapy are employed to control the symptoms and arrest the growth of tumor. In
addition, steroid therapy is also given in order to reduce the swelling caused
by the malignant tumors.
How can brain cancer be prevented?
The exact cause that
initiates the onset of brain cancer is not known. Therefore, at present it is
not possible to prevent brain cancer. However, early screening and regular
health check ups help in early detection of cancer, which can help in controlling
the disease.
